🌐 whispurrscattery.com They are highly intelligent ,loving, affectionate, loyal, agile, child friendly, healthy cats. My babies are handled from birth and around children under my supervision. They are considered the only hypoallergenic cat breed. Absolutely no

ne of my cats are ever caged, and they are all indoor and not declawed. All of my males are neutered except for one, as well as all but three of my females. I strictly adhere to the TICA code of ethics as a breeder, and will only breed if hypoallergenic cats are in demand. Kittens are full pedigree and can be registered with TICA upon spay or neuter. Dr.Oz even reccomend siberians for sensitive indiciduals. If allergies are not an issue for you, please consider adoption from a shelter. Those kitties are there thru no fault of their own.:(

Having a cattery is not a business, but a passion of mine. I have two other full time jobs that give me the luxury to afford to do this , as it is a very expensive hobby. Please forgive me if I ask many questions upon adoption, but I want nothing but the best for my fur babies! :)

I raise my siberians along side my other kitties that are rescues. So a visit here may not be totally hypoallergenic! I can , upon request before adoption of your kitten, have that specific kitten tested for Fel-d1 (at the buyers cost which run appx $450..)Every cats levels vary, but my Queens and tom are from parents with very low levels.y

The majority of cat allergies are caused by a small stable glycoprotein called Fel d1. Each allergen in a species is given a number when it is identified. The first house cat allergen identified was labeled Feline domesticus allergen 1, or (Fel d 1). Fel-d1 is produced by lacrimal, salivary, sebaceous, and perianal glands. During grooming, Fel-d1 from saliva becomes airborne. Allergen from the skin glands stays on the fur and is easily transferred to clothing, carpet, and upholstery. Litter boxes often contain the highest amount of Fel d1, as the highest concentrations are found in the anal glands. Fur length does not increase or decrease the amount of allergen produced. Long fur does allows the cat to groom more allergen off the coat which can lower reactions. The fine downy fur from the undercoat can cause itching which is not related to Fel d1 allergen levels. Shedding is most common during early spring, but occurs all year. Multiple studies have shown neutering sharply reduces the levels of Fel-d 1 in males. The allergen is hormonally controlled, with non-neutered males producing the highest amounts. Genetically low males and females produce similar amounts of Fel d1. In 2006, allergen levels were measured in 420 adult un-neutered Siberian cats. Half of the Siberians in the study had found to have lower levels of feline allergen than other domestic breeds. Roughly 15% of the cats had exceptionally low levels of Fel d1, with both males and females found in the lowest group. IF YOU ARE REACTING TO YOUR CAT:

or if you have chronic allergies, the following suggestions can sharply reduce buildup of Fel d1 and other cat allergens in the home. Routine bathing removes a large amount of allergens present in the fur. Your cat will still produce the same amount of Fel d1 allergen, but the amount in the home will be lower. Weekly bathing your cat reduces household airborne feline allergen levels by 45%. Moistening your pet prior to combing reduces allergens released into the air during grooming. Allerpet Grooming Solution works well to moisten the hair, removes oils and deactivates allergens. It also prevents the fine undercoat from floating into the air during grooming. Place washable throws on any area your cats like to sleep. Include couches and chairs as well as climbing stations and cat beds. Wash all throws weekly in hot water, detergent and borax to remove and deactivate allergens. Frequent vacuuming rugs and soft surfaces reduces allergen levels. Air out the house after vacuuming, and damp mop hard floors and wipe hard surfaces. When possible, replace carpets in bedrooms with washable hard flooring. Clean and change litter boxes frequently to reduce Fel-d1 and other allergens. The highest concentrations of many allergens are found in the litterbox. Always place the litter box in the garage or another room that can be vented to the outside. Young kittens get dust on their coats from powdery litters, which tracks irritants and allergens into the house. Try different types of litter, as many are irritants or cause allergic reactions. Finally, if you are interested in a forever fur baby, please just contact for the next step. I do have a waiting list, and prices start at $1200.
