This book-matched red cedar table is special, because the table sits less than 30’ away from where the tree grew.

The Hamiltons had this beautiful aromatic red cedar tree in the center of their backyard, but a year ago, a windstorm blew it over. Ed reached out to us to give it a second life, and 12 months later, the tree is once again a part of their family, this time in the center of the home as their every-day kitchen table.

Their grown-up daughter was visiting when we delivered the table and commented that she’s known this tree for her entire life. It was older than her!

BEFORE AND AFTER. There were so many things wrong with this table, but with the help of and some good ol’fashioned sweat equity, we fixed them all. Quite a transformation! 🤩🤩

This round hard maple dining table turned into quite an adventure, because our truck blew a control arm halfway through the delivery. Thankfully, it just “happened” that another customer of ours lives just up the road from where we broke down, and picked up both us and the table, and helped us get it delivered all before the AAA truck showed up to tow us home.
The table made it home, our truck is back on the road, and we’re feeling grateful for the help God sends our way, just when we need it. 🙏

A couple weeks ago we posted a progress pic of this ash sofa/bar table, and here’s the finished piece!!

Calvin is a football coach in Loveland and was redoing his basement entertainment area. He wanted this table before the Bengals season began as a spot that they could serve food from and folks could also sit and watch the game. Eventually he plans to inlay different sports memorabilia from his own football career under a coat of epoxy, but for now, we let the wood speak for itself!

Last week we completed this amazing kitchen table for the Stires family in Loveland. It’s made from a local ash tree harvested after it died. The table is counter height and doubles as a kitchen Island/additional counter space as well as their everyday breakfast/eating area.

Whenever we do deliveries like this, I’m always amazed by two things:
1. The natural beauty that’s hidden within trees 🌳
2. The joy and beauty that’s found in our clients’ homes and families 😊
