This is why I created StoryWood, to build from old, beat up, lumber with a story. The headboard was made by the custom’s grandfather. Made mostly of walnut and maple, it was a fine piece of craftsmanship but time has taken its toll on the structure of it. I milled down planks to make a family coat of arms. Super cool project!

Finally finished the highttop barstools. No template, diagram made off the top of my head. Hard to tell without a point...

Finally finished the highttop barstools. No template, diagram made off the top of my head. Hard to tell without a point of reference but these barstools are unusually tall. It’s the reason the owners had to order them custom. #.

Over building 4 barstools order. Each barstool has 32 screw holes filled with dowels. Very tedious endeavor but if it’s worth building,it’s worth Over building!!
