Happy New Year!! š
I was drinking my coffee this morning and reflecting on the past year and I realized it has been months since I have posted what I have been up toā¦so sorry about that!
Last year, like most past years, go so fast and life can just take over and make you so busy!
So today I will be doing a post dump of my work to catch you all up, and Iām starting with something I did thatās new to me!
A friend reached out to me, a while ago and asked if I can redo their boat seats. As you can see they have piping going through the top. Yikes!! At first I told her I donāt do piping, I have lots of reasons but mostly itās because Iām pretty intimidated by all the extra work and stress of getting it perfect. She was totally understanding, like most of the people I deal with!! (Thank you all for that ā¤ļø)
She brought me the seats and I said ya know what, since we are friends and youāre so cool about stuff, I would really like to give it a shot. The worst that could happen would be I totally mess up the piping pattern and would have to recover it all in white, she was supportive and confident in me, so I tried!
Iām pretty proud of myself for trying and I think it came out great! I learned a lot and I know what I will do differently next time and what worked this time!
The last two pictures are of another seat that just needed to be put back together. The board was broke and they cut out a new and brought me all the pieces to reassemble.
