The Oshkosh Fire Department extends its sincere condolences to the family of Philip Grundy in the wake of his passing. The OFD Dive Team appreciates his assistance with drive training over the years. His dedication to the Town of Oshkosh Fire Department will not be forgotten.

With heavy hearts all of us at the Town of Oshkosh Fire Department would like to extend our condolences to the Grundy family as they grieve the passing of Philip Grundy. Philip was a proud member of the Town of Oshkosh Fire Department for 45 years. During that time he held roles including Fire Chief, Assistant Chief, Captain and Firefighter. Additionally, Philip served as an equipment officer, spending many hours making sure our equipment and apparatus were maintained and ready to serve residents of the Town of Oshkosh. Philip was also a 3rd generation firefighter with the Town of Oshkosh, following in the footsteps of his father Guy P. Grundy, and his Grandfather Guy E. Grundy. A path he was proud his children had followed by becoming 4th generation firefighters for the township. He will be greatly missed.
