Finished this project that I had started 3 years ago. One side is a little different in color on the blue. I had run out and the one i used next was a little darker and metallic which is ok as you can only see the one side at a time anyway. . So now Larry can stop saying "when are you going to finish the shelf" lol. As normal he didnt understand when i mentioned we need plywood behind it and then spacer boards behind the plywood so that we could hide all the wires. So for now we will have to live with the wires until we need to bring it down when we move the TV. So a few more things off the table and the printer has a home now.

This was a last minute creation and my very first attempt at photo transfer. The original one I had saved as it was a favorite that she wanted framed. Couldn't find the one in color but I sort of rearranged it and changed a few things and added their faces in place of the original. I had also changed the dog to their lovable pouch. It was a fun project that created a few smiles, well worth trying.

This project took 4 years from start to finish. I didn't exspect life throwing me that curve ball but I was able to complete it at last and into the welcoming arms of its new owner. I made this with Baltic birch plywood using 3 layers. I used Tooli art acrylic paint pens which I really enjoy using instead of an art brush. I am pretty happy how this project turned out.

Well it has been awhile. Words of advice is to seek out help sooner and not later. A lot of time was certainly wasted. Depression can really stop someone and prevent them from accomplishing their dreams, their goals and just prevent an enjoyable life. Everyone matters and everyone should care about others. Here is to a New Year 2024 let's make this year count in all ways possible.

A little more work done on my shelf. Added honey oak stain to darken the other squares and will be using the same stain on the rest of the shelf. Masked off and painted the first coat on the areas that I wanted paint on. Tomorrow I hope to get the second coat on.

The table had some real issues that someone had fixed with filler after doing some sanding we noticed and then more issues were added over the years with use that were not sanding off. So we had ordered some veneer, stripped off the old and glued and put into our vacuum press. So after all sanding and glueing, spraying the color on it, it is finished and now at its home with a happy owner.

The base is completely done and the brass feet are cleaned and on. Top has had its final coat sprayed on this morning. Tomorrow he will be spraying the bottom side then assembly after it is dried.

Larry has sprayed this table three times with clear to help fill in the low areas of the veneer sanding each coat. He has put one color coat on and will sand then put on the second coat later.

Larry made a stand for the table base so that he could spray it more easily. So the base is all done, now for the table top.
