4️⃣ Things I’d tell you as your custom cabinet designer…if I wasn’t afraid to hurt your feelings 🤐

1. Custom doesn’t always mean complicated. Some of the best designs are the simplest ones. Good custom design should feel effortless. Clean lines, smart storage, and thoughtful details 🧠

2. Your builder doesn’t know how much storage you need. So many “nice” homes still end up with overflowing closets, messy offices, and spare room storage dumps. They design homes for average, and honey, I don’t think you’re average 💕 I design spaces for your ACTUAL life. Your hobbies, your routines, your work from home set up, your shoe collection 👠

3. Functionality is king 👑 it doesn’t matter how beautiful a space is - if it frustrates you every day, it’s a bad design. The prettiest office in the world won’t help if there’s nowhere to hide cords or paperwork 📋 A gorgeous closet won’t stay beautiful if it doesn’t fit your wardrobe 👗 A stunning guest room that sits unused 360 days a year is wasted potential. The best spaces are the ones that look beautiful AND make your daily life easier. You don’t live in a showroom.

4. Most spare bedrooms get used a handful of days per year 🛌 but take up space every day. Meanwhile people are working from kitchen counters, storing gym equipment in the living room, and wishing they had a home office, hobby room, or a home gym. That’s why we specialize in multifunctional spaces. A well designed spare room should be a guest room AND… a workout room, a craft room, more closet space, etc.
