I know I haven’t posted my work in a while. I was hit with back-to-back commissions all summer. And here’s one of the them.

It’s a 6’ L-shape bar top which was elevated off the end of a huge kitchen island. The wood is Butternut (found at Custom Country Woods) with a cinnamon tint and an Osmo satin finish. This was crated up and shipped to Denver, CO. to a wonderful couple building a spectacular home outside of Golden. Cheers!!!z

This mirror was a custom build for someone living just outside of the Tahoe National Forest in CA. She was able to pick the specific burl pieces she wanted…I did a quick photoshop comp before I started, so she had a great idea of what the finished piece would look like. Check out this 4 ft round table I just finished. 1 ½” thick oak. Finished with a sun-bleached wash. This table was built, along with a 10ft dining table, to be in this incredible lakefront home just up the road from “ Graycliff ”on Old Lakeshore Rd. It’s a great place to sit and look out over the Lake Erie Bluffs. Nice choice of chairs!

I recently finished 2 unique contemporary tables. One was 10ft long…1 ½” thick oak. Finished with a sun-bleached wash. Very sturdy and very heavy. The table was commissioned to be in this incredible lakefront home just up the road from “ Graycliff ”on Old Lakeshore Rd. We were still waiting for chairs to arrive. This custom-sized mirror was built for a beautiful new home in ALABAMA. The owner said it is designed to fit in his new Bourbon Bar. This handsome mirror was finished just before Christmas. I would describe it as distinctive, earthy, robust and full-bodied with an aroma of cherry burl (did I go too far?). Cheers Alan!
