About Us

Marty Rae’s has been a retail store in Orangeburg, SC since 1958. Martha Rose began Marty Rae’s as a dress shop at 1144 Broughton Street when she was in her 20’s. She expanded her organization to include a furniture store in South Carolina in 1970 called Marty Rae Furniture Galleries. The Orangeburg location is now known as Marty Rae’s of Orangeburg.

Marty Rae’s still employs today one of her original sales ladies, Lucia “Dean” Zimmerman. She has been part of our team in Orangeburg for over 50 years. When you walk in, we treat you to that southern hospitality that has kept generation after generation shopping at Marty Rae’s.

From the entry way to the bedroom and everything in between, Marty Rae’s transforms furniture, lamps, art, and accessories into effortless elegance.
