Introducing Norra.

Inspired by its lakeside surroundings, Norra brings a sense of relaxed luxury to its amenity spaces through natural materials, warm wood tones, soft neutrals and layered textures.

For ESG Architecture & Design, the vision was rooted in “elevated leisure and quiet sophistication." A design that feels refined, approachable and timeless while capturing the feeling of lake life in Wayzata, Minnesota.

Hutch Contract partnered with ESG to bring that vision to life through furniture procurement, sourcing and installation. From the overall furniture collection to the details that give each space its personality, our role was to make sure the furnishings supported the design intent while functioning for everyday life.

Spaces that work hard.

Today’s amenity spaces are designed to do more. From coworking lounges and meeting spaces to places for gathering or unwinding, every environment is thoughtfully furnished to support the way residents live today.

We recently installed and photographed four multifamily communities in both Massachusetts and Minnesota:

- Avalon Quincy Adams
- Avalon at Lexington Hills
- Norra
- Minnetonka Apartments
..each thoughtfully designed to balance flexibility, comfort and durability while bringing the designer’s vision to life.

Because when furniture works hard, the spaces do too.

This recognition really belongs to the people behind it.

To our Hutch team, thank you for being you and for showing up every day, caring about the work, and always going the extra mile. We're incredibly lucky to work with such a truly amazing group of people.

And to our clients, design partners, manufacturers, vendors, and everyone who's supported Hutch along the way, thank you for trusting us and growing with us. We truly couldn't have done it without you.

We're grateful for all of you and excited for what's next.

Long before Hutch Contract became one of the Inc. Magazine's Inc. 5000 Fastest-Growing Private Companies in America, co-founders Nicholas Huff and Brandon Beed bought their first piece of furniture together in 2012: a 1950s walnut Stanley hutch.

What began as unrelenting curiosity and a weekend hobby, quickly became sleeping on strangers' lawns before estate sales, filling their homes with more than 100 pieces of mid-century furniture, a retail store, a maker festival that drew 50,000+ attendees, and eventually Hutch Contract: a design-focused procurement partner now trusted by developers, architects, and interior design firms across 25 states.

The full story is a reminder that the biggest ideas often start small, and that curiosity, more than a plan, is what gets you there.

We're proud to made the list of this year's Inc. 5000 Fastest-Growing Private Companies in America, and couldn't have done it without our amazing staff, clients and vendor partners.

The art of arrival.

The first impression of a space begins long before someone reaches their destination.

Whether it's a multifamily community or student housing development, the lobby sets the tone through thoughtful furniture, layered materials and intentional moments that invite people to pause, gather, or simply feel at home.

From statement lounge seating and custom rugs to welcoming reception areas and curated accessories, every piece plays a role in creating an arrival experience that feels both elevated and effortless.

Because great design doesn't just welcome people in. It makes them want to stay.

Elevated amenity spaces.

Today’s multifamily amenities are no longer defined by scale alone, they’re defined by intention.

From clubrooms and coworking lounges to rooftop terraces and outdoor gathering spaces, the most successful environments are designed to support how residents actually live: working, gathering, unwinding and connecting throughout the day.

Through thoughtful furniture selection, layered textures, and hospitality-inspired layouts, these spaces become more than amenities, they become everyday extensions of home.

At Hutch Contract, we focus on sourcing and specifying pieces that balance durability with comfort, creating environments that feel elevated, welcoming and built for real use.

Outdoor spaces that extend the resident experience. ☀️

The best amenity spaces don't stop at the front door.

From morning coffee on the rooftop to afternoons by the pool and evenings gathered around the fire pit, thoughtfully furnished outdoor environments become an extension of home. They're places to work, unwind and build community.

Every piece of furniture plays a role in shaping how these spaces are experienced, balancing durability with comfort and creating inviting destinations residents return to day after day.

Because great multifamily design doesn't end indoors.

Project Reveal: The Spruce

We're excited to finally share one of our latest multifamily projects, The Spruce in West Palm Beach, Florida!

Developed by Affiliated Development and designed by RINKA, this vibrant community features thoughtfully curated amenity spaces designed to bring people together, from the welcoming lobby and coworking areas to the clubroom, rooftop lounge, pool deck and outdoor gathering spaces.

Our team partnered with the project to furnish the amenity spaces throughout the property, incorporating pieces from brands including Four Hands Furniture and Blu Dot to create environments that feel elevated, comfortable and built for everyday living. We also furnished the model units, helping carry the design vision into the apartment units themselves.

We're proud to have been part of bringing this West Palm Beach community to life alongside an incredible project team!
