Good morning! For those of you with kids in care what’s something you see kids lack when coming into care? Please put age for reference as well. Mom picked up Dads ashes today! He is finally home! Dad we still think of you daily and miss you every minute. Harper told me you live in her heart and I believe that you do!!! I love you DAD!

We recieved our Certificate of Incorporation from the WA Secretary of State for The Mamaw and Papaw Foundation today!

Over the weekend we had our first board meeting, filed for our Employee Identification Number (EIN), and submitted our 1023-EZ for recognition of exemption as a 501(c)3 of the IRS.

We are still working on the website and hope to have it up and running in the next few weeks. We plan to share meeting minutes and copies of other documents on the website.

Mamaw got a letter today that both of Papaws corneas went to 2 different women and both were successful! The women were both older and can continue to see their grandchildren! Thank you dad! What a great gift you gave, I love you.

The Mamaw and Papaw Foundation is now a registered nonprofit corporation in the State of Washington! Next, we will schedule our first board meeting to add the Articles of Incorporation to the official record, adopt bylaws, and appoint officers.

It's only been 11 days since we lost dad/papaw. The tears come so quickly dad when I think about you. I'm blessed to have such a great dad, I will keep all our memories of you alive. I remember the day I told you I was pregnant with Harper, you were thrilled but in your voice I could tell you were sad that you had aged and wouldn't be able to do the things with Harper that you did with Savannah. I talk about you everyday with Harper and you are in our prayers every night. She will always have happy memories about her papaw! Thanks to everyone who is sharing the page, we appreciate it!

Happy Independence Day!

We want to extend a huge THANK YOU to everyone who has contributed to The Mamaw and Papaw Foundation and to all that have shared this post! We sincerely appreciate your help in starting this Foundation. We are so excited about being able to give back to others!

You may notice that the foundation name is now being called The Mamaw and Papaw Foundation. Papaw is survived by his beautiful and loving wife, Linda Parker, AKA "Mamaw." Mamaw and Papaw had 48 beautiful years of marriage and were a united team when it came to providing for their family and community. It seems only fitting that the foundation continue to carry forward the legacies they built together.

As a family, we are working diligently toward filing paper work to make this OFFICIAL! So far, we have filed our Articles of Incorporation with the WA Secretary of State as a non-profit corporation and are awaiting a response. Once we receive a response we will move forward with steps necessary to get recognized as a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization.

Additionally, we developed our mission, slogan, logo and created a page! Please "like" our page and share widely! We thank you in advance.
