My dad just sent over this picture of my sister and I helping to dismantle our crib when we were kids.
Nearly 30 years later I found myself reassembling the crib for our own son.

SWIPE TO SEE THE BEFORE
With the arrival of Baby Green only a matter of months away, there hasn’t been much time to build anything. So when we realized we needed a space saving changing table, I took it as an opportunity to get creative!
With the help of my dad, I gutted this old closet we used for storage and started piecing together a changing area. It’s maybe 60% done as of today, but progress is still being made in preparation of our little boy.
Stay tuned for a finished project picture or two!

We’re so excited to raise this little guy and can’t wait to introduce him to the world!

Epoxy + pigments + fallen cedar branches = Heartfelt, one of a kind gifts.
I think I’ll have to get the epoxy out again soon... 🤔

The last day of the year is exciting! I try to spend some time reflecting on the goals I set a year ago and begin writing down my goals for the upcoming year.
It’s so good to be aware of where you started on Jan. 1 to where you end up by Dec. 31.
For me, 2018 was a CRAZY roller coaster ride. Low lows and high highs with a lot of contrasting emotions. Honestly one of the toughest years for me to date. However, looking back, I now realize just how much of a blessing 2018 truly was.
My main takeaway for the year? Remain faithful.
At the top AND the bottom, remain faithful.
In rain AND drought, remain faithful.
In the good AND bad, remain faithful.
Excess AND lack, remain faithful.
Through every season, remain faithful to who you are and who God is. You’ll never be abandoned and you’ll never be given less than you need. Embrace the fact that life truly is one giant rollercoaster! Let go of the harness, lift your hands and scream your guts out! You might as well have fun along the way. 😊

Handmade gifts always hold a special meaning. This year I tried my hand at wood turning and made my dad a new conducting baton!
Epoxy + a fallen Cedar branch from the Wichita Mountains = One beautiful baton.

More fun with epoxy! Can anybody guess what we’re up to? (No spoilers if you already know!)
