I’m so grateful to have received these photos! My grandparents owned an upholstery shop on SE 29th street in OKC, and the other snapshots are of me as a baby “helping” out in the workshop. Upholstery truly runs in the family - passed down through generations, stitched into the fabric of our family story. 🧵❤️

The Wendelman’s workshop is hoppin’! We had a quick repair that we wanted to share with you. Customer had a beautiful vintage leather recliner that had damage to the seat. We had difficulty finding a perfect leather match so we got clever and took the leather from the back of the recliner, replaced with vinyl and made a new top for the cushion. These things don’t always work out so perfectly, but this one did!
