Countertop questions? We’ve got answers. 😉

Granite vs. quartz. What’s the difference, and which one might be right for your home?

Here’s the quick scoop: Granite is a natural stone, with each slab offering its own unique patterns and character. Quartz is engineered using natural quartz and resins, giving you more consistency in color and pattern. Both are beautiful options, and the best fit comes down to your design preference, lifestyle, and priorities!

These are the kinds of questions we love helping customers with! Beth and Karrah are always here to share a little showroom know-how and help you find the right stone for your space.

There’s something about October that makes home feel extra cozy. 🍁

A little more time spent inside. Coffee brewing in the morning light, something warm simmering on the stove, and a kitchen that becomes a place to gather, linger, and feel at home.

As the days grow shorter and the air turns cooler, it’s often the simplest moments that mean the most. We’re grateful to play a small part in creating the spaces where they happen.

Featuring Calacatta Idillio in this customer's beautiful kitchen.

If you like this stone, then you'll love these in-stock options:
• IvoriTaj (brushed finish) Quartz
• Fantasy Brown
• Taj Mahal
• Calacatta Belaros Quartz

We've got plenty of discounted single slabs if you're looking for a bargain to accomplish a smaller project around home this fall or winter. 🤎

A little darker. A little moodier. Meet Black Diamond. 🖤

Some stones complement a kitchen. Others set the entire mood. This October, we’re showcasing some of our favorite dark + moody countertop options, and Black Diamond Quartzite is one that deserves a closer look.

With a deep charcoal surface, delicate gold veining, striking white mineral details and unexpected hints of burgundy, this stone brings drama and character to any space.

Pair it with rich wood tones, warm brass finishes or deep burgundy cabinetry, and you’ve got a kitchen that feels equal parts bold and timeless.

Would you go this dark in your kitchen?

Come see Black Diamond in person at Stonewood Granite. The details in this one are even better up close.

Dark kitchens are having a moment. And honestly, we get it. 🖤

For the month of October, we’re leaning into the darker side of kitchen design and showing you some of our favorite moody countertop combinations.

First up: Titanium Gold.

Deep charcoal, warm gold veining, creamy quartz and plenty of natural movement come together in a granite that’s made for kitchens that aren’t afraid of a little drama.

Would you put a stone this bold in your kitchen?

Stay tuned. We’ve got more dark + moody favorites coming your way all month.

And if Titanium Gold has you dreaming up a darker kitchen, come see this one in person. Sometimes a slab just hits differently when you see all that movement up close.

They see beautiful slabs all day long, but which ones would they choose for their own kitchens? 🤍

We asked Beth and Karrah to weigh in on their favorites if they were re-designing their own kitchens today.

✨ Beth went with the timeless warmth of Taj Mahal Quartzite.
✨ Karrah chose the bold, beautiful veining of Calacutta Gold Exotic.

Two slabs. Two styles. Two very good reasons to start dreaming about your own kitchen remodel. Stop by the Odessa showroom and let our family help you find the stone you’ll love coming home to.
