ll be a household name for years to come. Since the Grady's acquisition in 2005, the store has expanded to two locations to serve Garrett County and the surrounding communities. Located, fittingly, where you can hear the train whistle as it goes by, right outside of downtown Oakland is Grand Central Station. At this location, you will find living room, dining room, and bedroom furniture as well as mattresses and home decor. And if you're lucky, you may even catch a glimpse of the famous Pearly! Grand Central at the Lake is located in Trader's Landing, along US Rt 219 at Deep Creek Lake. This two story showroom houses a full-line furniture and mattress store, and also specializes in rustic wooden furniture. Grand Central at the Lake is also the home of the Grand Central Design Center where customers can choose from a number of frames and fabric to customize their own pieces of furniture to suit their preferences. Grand Central also offers in-home consultations to assist customers in their furniture and decorating needs. Angela, who is also the buyer for Grand Central, says, "Whether you are a professional designer, want help designing that perfect room,, or maybe just help in choosing a color pain t to coordinate with your new family room group, be sure to check out Grand Central's Design Center." Angela attends the North Carolina furniture market annually to stay on top of the latest styles and hottest trends. Both locations carry many well-known national brands in stock for immediate delivery, and a special-order program can be implemented. Grand Central offers several different financing options, including layaway, no interest and reduced -rate plans, a revolving line of credit, and no-credit-check financing.
