Funny story.. all my adult life I've wanted a giant moose mount for my shop. We'll this spring I'm delivering a table set to a local customer and i see this enormous moose head in the driveway. Turns out my customer shot this moose a few years ago and has no where to put it. A little wheeling and dealing later and they have a TV stand and i have a 1200 # moose mount that was shot maybe 20 miles from my camp on Moosehead lake. My son named him Wild Bill.

Finally finished up this set for my showroom. The table is built from cypress reclaimed 50 years ago from a cistern at the kyes fiber paper mill nearby. The base is reclaimed spruce and pine from the Maine skewer and dowel co warehouse i dismantled last year. The bark motifs are ash and birch. The chairs are rough cut maple.
