Long time coming on this one - a custom mug board done for a retiring CAG. His command and wife approached us about creating a custom piece to showcase the Air wing Coffee mug collection that she had bought for him as a Christmas present. Woods are walnut veneer and oak moulding. The Air Wing call sign is “BROADSWORD” - as such the centerpiece is a miniaturized English broadsword made exactly how the real thing would be assembled - with a maple blade and tang that extends into the handle, a Yellow Heart cross guard and a turned yellow heart and walnut handle that locks the whole handle assembly together. Aircraft silhouettes are 1/4” Maple.

Congratulation CAPT Dave “Rooster” Harris on a successful tour as CO of VAQ-129, the Growler FRS. Another custom piece to commemorate a great tour for a great Service member. The piece is an African Padauk shield, Maple and Walnut sword, and a Yellow heart lightning bolt. It’s all solid wood with a hand rubbed danish oil finish. Tail Hook point custom painted by Tim McCants.

New Shadow box piece for a retiring USN LDO Commander. Walnut aircraft and Maple anchor - he worked on both the F/A-18 and EA-18 so both are represented via their wingtip weapons stores since the exteriors of the airframes are otherwise pretty much indistinguishable.
