Recently completed kitchen face lift.

✔️ new countertop
✔️new drawer boxes and heavy duty drawer slides
✔️new soft close door hardware
✔️cabinetry resurfacing- painted in Evergreen Fog by Sherwin Williams
✔️removal of dated oak valance and table height bar extension
✔️newly wired light over the sink
✔️tile repair
✔️updated sink, faucet and pulls
✔️rental friendly update

This project was years in the making!!! So happy this busy rental got some time blocked off to complete this upgrade!!

Productive meeting this week with GC Steve Pelletier and timber frame expert Chris Barstow. We planned placement for reclaimed beams and problem solved this area of the home where we have a change in ceiling height, LVLs, and specialty finishes to account for. We are constantly being challenged and problem solving together along the way. I love leaving a job site and feeling good about what's ahead.

While this project is still ongoing and we're finishing up furniture and decor, I wanted to share this home with you. Maybe a little premature, but it's important for people to know this special journey of building someone's home takes time, patience and passion. Every detail is thought out and curated into a magical creation. A place to unwind, entertain, love and build memories. This journey is long and personal and rewarding, for everyone. I will say this until I die--- it's not just how the space looks, it's how it makes you feel. And this feels so good.

Let's talk about wood tones and combos that work together, instead of against one another! This is probably one of the hardest parts of my job. Every stain selection needs to flow, provide enough contrast that it's appealing and provide balance within the space. Same when introducing paint colors. These cooler stain combos meet all that criteria. If we had added warmer wood tones there would have been far too much contrast and it would have thrown the whole plan off. Everything is coming together perfectly 👌 wood combo so far 10/10!! What do you think? Wait until you see the tile if you think this is amazing!!
