General information
Our community is fully owned and operated by the residents of Norton Estates. All the shareholders in Norton Estates are equal partners in the cooperation. This means we own an equal share of the land. When you buy a mobile you also buy a share from the cooperation. What all this means is you don’t directly own the real estate. You are buying a share into the corporation that owns all the land. You being the shareholder have an exclusive right to live in a specific unit (this is established thorough a proprietary lease) for as long as you want.
