Record console! I wanted a project that would show off all of the capabilities I have with my shop to advertise and build interest in a local custom furniture business.
There are so many parts to this, from hand cut dovetails, cnc machining, 3d printing, design work, paint, shellac finish, and hand weaving speaker mesh. This was a challenge, but it all came together in mid-century inspired style!
Then it turned out that is having a maker challenge just as I’m finishing up so I decided to throw my hat in the ring there too. Hand joining 5’ long boards for the top is not as easy nor fast as using a new jointer!
