I crafted this “Early American style” child’s rocker, out of Black cherry, for my granddaughters 2nd birthday. Although it’s a bit time consuming as a project, it’s certainly a rewarding one. She absolutely loves it! Shouldn’t every granddaughter have one?? Cheers all. And thanks for checking out my page.

Just finished building these three, paint grade, pantry base cabinets for my old friend Mr. Matthew T Brennan. Next up will be his add-on, extra deep, upper cabinets. Love it when a project grows as you’re doing it.

Another recently completed small design/build project for a great returning client (some of you may remember my “Mudroom makeover” project from a couple years ago). This fireplace mantel was built to characterize the Nantucket style of my previous work for them. Painted poplar base structure with a dull rubbed poly finish soft maple top.

Just finished this kitchen, and small bathroom, renovation project. You may recognize the cabinets and counter tops from my previous post. Yup, I took them out of one house and repurposed them into a neighbors property which will soon be used as a lakeside B&B.

Well, I know it’s been quite some time since I last added anything here so here are a few posts to catch everyone up.
I had the pleasure of remodeling this kitchen for some wonderful folks here in North Hero last winter. Removed the old oak kitchen, did a bit of framing re-configuration and repair then installed the new “Crown Point Cabinetry” kitchen. I’ve also done a few other small projects for these folks as well and have another one coming up soon. Will add pictures soon as it’s finished.

Well all, I know it’s been a while but here are some progress pics from the A-frame expansion project. Finished exterior insulation today, now a week of finishing up rough ins, interior insulation and framing punch list and we’ll be hangin drywall. Cheers all!

Next project, turning a small A-frame into a 3 bedroom house. Let the fun begin.

My current “under construction” project. Spent the last two weeks removing the old roof systems and constructing new ones on this little early 1900’s house in Essex. Changed the pitches on both sections. Another week of tying up loose ends and roof trims then roofing, chimney extensions and spray foam insulation. Interior and exterior finishes will be an on going “as possible” process. Can’t begin to thank my helpers enough on this one. Unfortunately, I failed at taking any before pics.
