Just a small pole barn Was bare wood when started. I use oil base stain. Which now days in this great green state you can not buy. I still have a line to get more as a guy I know bought out a hardware store. I am old school and all bare wood should be done with a oil base.

This was the worst side. And the limy green is what is wife painted. Needed to be gone all the way thru an take out the old caulk and replaced with urethane. I never use water base caulk. Does not hold and the urethane will out last anything. Primed all the bare wood with a oil base and colored all to match close to finish color. Kind of a sage green with light cream trim. House was built in the 1800s. Nothing was easy with this job as they had put a steel roof on. That you was never going to walk on with the pitch. This was the job from hell. I normally never take these old wood siding jobs. But thought and did. It come out really nice. Added some extra finish coats to fill in the wood and give it a even look. All it matters in the end is the owner was really happy.

Almost there. Hang the sprayed down shutters cut the ones that had to do up dress white. Fix wood around front door.
