We work (play) here every day, and people love it, and leave with something they made themselves!? Awesome. 🤩

This past week I had the honor of teaching a group of Navy Seabees at the Homestead Woodworking School in Newmarket NH. They each built a Shaker inspired table over the course of a week. These extraordinary young men and women did a great job and I’m humbled and thankful for their sacrifice in service to our country.

As 2025 comes to a close, we want to take a moment to say thank you.

This past year at Homestead Woodworking School is one we’ll always be grateful for. Ending the year with nearly every class filled, the shop stayed busy, and the energy and enthusiasm you brought through the doors made all the difference. Your loyalty, encouragement, and kind words throughout the year—here in Newmarket and beyond—have meant more to me than you know.

Homestead is about more than woodworking. It’s about learning, creating, and finding satisfaction in working with your hands. Watching you grow in skill and confidence is the most rewarding part of what we do.

As we head into 2026, thank you for being part of this community and for continuing to support HWS. We're excited for another year of shared projects, good conversation, and time well spent in the shop.
