Celebrated myself today and had the best cheering squad. The family met me 3 times along the course and it's been amazing reflecting on the family we made. Thanks for supporting me for 6 months of training, and helping me hobble home.

Saturday we took a family trip to buy groceries. I had a list of things to buy that were whole food plant based. PJ went to toss in a pack of Oreos and I said, "Please don't, I'm trying to change my life." I shocked myself by saying the words out loud. It seemed to give the words I'd been thinking some sort of power. What if I took this approach with other things? Why don't I say out loud that I AM a good mother, or that I am becoming stronger?
