be inspired. A shop based on imitation and inspiration in design There is a fine line between imitating or being inspired by a design.

It is a much debated element in the design world, but it isn’t necessarily a bad thing. When a design is being imitated or used as inspiration, it is in a way bringing honor to the designer and the value of the design rises (resulting sometimes in iconic pieces). Therefore we should embrace being inspired and bring transparency to this process instead of hiding it. Bringing this together in a seasonly shop offering the variety of ‘inspired’ designs and history.
