Dr. Edwards Anker is founder of nea studio, an architecture and interior design practice, and a professor at Parsons and Pratt. Formerly, she was an architect at the offices of a-lab in Oslo and I.M. She won the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Long Island Chapter Award for Residential Sustainable Design, the Good Design Award Chicago Atheneum Museum of Architecture and Design for furniture
, the A’Design Award for solar lighting, The Architect’s Newspaper Best Product Award, Domus Best Houses award, the Home & Garden Award for Best New Eco Residence. She authored the book Cocoon House - Light in Sustainable Architecture and Design. Edwards Anker is also Design Director at the urban think tank Terreform ONE. Her design work has been exhibited at the Milan Salone di Mobile and Design Miami. She has taught environmental design at various universities, including Parsons, Pratt, the Oslo School of Architecture and Design, Sotheby's Institute, and New York University Gallatin. She holds a PhD from the Oslo School of Architecture and Design and an M.Arch. from Harvard Graduate School of Design.
