Far Found Each line in FAR FOUND's collection embraces and reacts to the materials, means, and spirit of the place where it is made.

FAR FOUND is the journey of 5 designers with 5 cultural origins creating 5 lines of furniture over the next 5 years. We’re Colombian, Indian, Chinese-American, Polish-American and Burmese-Canadian, and we’re exploring the implications of culture on design. Our diversity constantly reminds us of the complexities, nuances and richness of our world and we now strive to create objects with a strongly

rooted sense of place. Objects that embrace and reflect the nature, materials, means and spirit of the place from which they were inspired and created. Our first line, Viva, was made entirely in Colombia's capital, Bogota. Subsequent lines will be made and inspired by the people and places of India, Poland, Burma and China. All of our furniture is defined by the materials and processes found in the places we go.
