Rating the pantry trends blowing up your fyp because someone has to.

Decanting everything into matching containers, worth it, but only if you actually keep it up. It’s not the container doing the work, it’s the fact that you can suddenly see what you have and what’s about to run out. Skip the refill and you’re just storing stale flour in a nicer jar.

Lazy susan in the fridge or freezer, worth it, no notes. Cheap, functional, actually solves the “why do I own three jars of the same mustard” problem.

Glass milk jugs and juice bottles, mixed. Looks incredible on camera. Also means washing an extra container every time you finish the milk. Do it if you love it, skip it if you don’t have the bandwidth, either way your fridge still works.

The full camera-ready pantry overhaul, matching everything top to bottom, waste of money. This is the one we see backfire the most. It photographs beautifully and falls apart in three weeks because nobody built a system underneath it, just bought a lot of matching plastic.

Magnetic fridge shelves and over-door racks, worth it. Cheap, no tools, actually creates storage instead of just rearranging what you already had.

The pattern here isn’t complicated. The trends that work make something easier to use. The ones that don’t are just decoration wearing a function costume. Save this before your next shopping run.

The closet trend everyone’s obsessed with right now is the matching hanger, color coded, everything folded into a perfect stack look. it photographs incredible. it also falls apart in about a week for most people, because it was never built around how they actually get dressed.

Here’s what we do instead. before a single hanger gets replaced, we go through everything and make decisions. what gets worn, what gets donated, what’s staying out of guilt. then we build zones around how the person actually moves through their morning, not around a color wheel.

The matching hangers can come after. they’re the last 10 percent, not the whole system. function first, always.

A pretty pantry and a functional pantry are not the same thing.

You can have the matching bins, the labels, the whole aesthetic. And still stand there every morning trying to remember which jar has the pasta.

Containers are the last decision we make, not the first. We start with how you actually shop, cook, and reach for things. Then we build the storage around that.

That’s the difference between a pantry that looks done and one that actually works.

Give us a shelf full of random stuff and we will find a home for every single item on it.

Sandpaper, wires, car cleaning supplies, tiki fuel, bug spray, gardening tools, all competing for the same space before. now each one has its own labeled bin and a reason for being there.

Nothing in this cabinet gets to just float around anymore.

Comment SYSTEMS if your space needs this too.

Helping people create homes that actually work for their lives? Turns out that’s exactly what our dream job looks like. If that’s not sunshine and rainbows, we don’t know what is. ☀️🌈

Clutter isn’t a personality flaw, it’s a systems problem, and the research backs it up.

Women living in cluttered homes show measurably higher cortisol levels. every extra item you own is one more thing your brain has to process, and that’s where the fatigue actually comes from. none of that resolves itself while you wait for a free weekend that never comes.

That’s the work we do. we build systems around how you actually live, then leave you with something you can keep up without thinking about it.

September is officially full. we just opened a handful of early october sessions.

Comment SESSION and we’ll get you locked in before those go too.

If you hire us this October to declutter your home, here’s exactly what we’d do.

First we walk through every room and just look. Mentally mapping every space, every surface, every closet, every “we’ll get to that later” corner you’ve been walking past for months.

Then we break your home into sections. Living room, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, storage areas. And we break each section into individual tasks. Not “declutter the bedroom,” because that’s not a task, that’s a project. We’re talking “nightstand drawer” as one task. “Under the bed” as another.

Once we have the full task list, we ask one question. What’s your timeline? Want it done over a few sessions? Want it done in one? The plan builds around your life, not the other way around.

No giant overwhelming push. No burning out halfway through a closet and giving up for another six months. It doesn’t matter how chaotic your home is or how long it’s been building, this approach works.

September is fully booked, so October is the next window. Comment SESSION now and we’ll help you grab one of the early spots before the month fills up too.

We walked in and could barely see the floor. By the end of the session everything had a home, and a system that’ll actually stick around after the first busy week.

This is what happens when the plan comes before the products. Drop CLOSET below and we’ll walk you through how we’d do the same for your space.

Every home has one drawer that holds everything and nothing. Cash, batteries, tape, a stray whale eraser nobody remembers buying. The drawer was never the problem. The missing homes were. Now everything in here has one spot, so grabbing tape doesn’t mean digging through loose change first.

Comment SESSION if your junk drawer needs the same treatment.

We were organizing a client’s kitchen the other day and she said the thing we hear on repeat: She keeps tidying it, and it keeps going right back to messy.

That’s not a her problem. It’s a system problem, and it’s the same one we see in almost every kitchen we walk into.

5 habits we use and recommend:

1. Keep everyday items within easy reach.
2. Group like items together.
3. Use containers for anything small enough to get lost in a drawer.
4. Organize based on how you actually use the space, not how it looks.
5. Give everything a home.

What’s the one spot in your kitchen that never stays organized?
