Since 2003, SunPower by EmPower Solar has called the Village of Island Park, home - through thick and thin, they've invested, re-invested and firmly planted roots here.

Stopped in this morning to their Ride & Drive event - an opportunity to check out the latest EV's, learn about workplace charging programs and get a clear understanding of incentives and rebates available to both municipalities and neighbors thanks to their staff and Calstart Northeast.

Tesla Cars, Nissan, Mitsubishi USA and BMW all had their newest vehicles and technology on hand to explore and test drive. With all the rebates and incentives, maybe its time for the Town of Hempstead to rely more on EV technology...
