Susan Hirschorn and Linda Lieberman have extensive hands-on experience in every aspect of providing linens for the special event community. They have manufactured fabric and trim to their client’s specifications both domestically and internationally and have shipped their custom linens all over the world. Their experience includes unmentionable years of successfully owning and operating their indi

vidual rental companies. Each company’s depth of rental options displayed their personal style and yet suited the wide variety of markets around the country. As the events business became more sophisticated, Susan and Linda found their clients often requiring very specific sizes and styles of linen with specialized fabrics and finishes that were unavailable in the rental market. At that point they decided to merge their talents and years of experience to create Designing Linens. Their discerning taste and understanding of their clients’ requirements, have found them collaborating with talented event planners, on celebrity and political events, with major corporations, restaurants and hotel groups for which they have furnished custom linens. Their linens have been used in corporate dining rooms, boardrooms, at weddings and corporate events, as well as private and social events both within and outside of these venues. At Designing Linens, every tablecloth, napkin and chair embellishment is made to order. Their studio is bursting with fabulous fabrics, from basic to the most elegant, and a vast array of trims and ideas for pleating, welting and piping and embroidery, which can reflect your personal style. They also have experience in the tabletop market and often resource accessories for their clients. They have purchased flatware, dinnerware, silver hollowware, glassware, specialty linens, and all types of décor on behalf of their clients.
