Our Story

COCO-MAT is an award-winning producer and retailer of all-natural bedding and environmentally friendly furniture for adults and children and we recently opened a 5,650 square-foot flagship store in SoHo, which is our first stand-alone store in the US. Our products are imported from COCO-MAT’s privately owned factories in Xanthi, Northern Greece and we ship anywhere in the world.

We sell a variety of home furnishings, which are all non-toxic, hypoallergenic and handcrafted using 100% natural materials and environmentally friendly manufacturing methods. Our beds provide optimal, elastic support without the use of metal springs and instead are constructed of multiple layers of all-natural materials, including tropical coconut fibers, seaweed gathered from Greek beaches, goose down, fibers culled from cactus plants and wool.

COCO-MAT’s products are popular around the world. We have more than 60 stores in 11 countries and partnerships with over 300 luxury hotels to feature our furnishings including the Athens Sofitel, Landmark Hotel in London, Hidden Hotel in Paris, Ritz-Carlton Barcelona, Hotel De L’Europe Amsterdam and many others.

The New York store exemplifies COCO-MAT's philosophy of graciousness and simple elegance. Customers can sample the full range of beds while consulting with specially trained sales associates, who provide individualized recommendations. The store features a specially designed Nap Suite that allows customers to test mattresses in a private, enclosed space for hours. Everyday we offer visitors free Greek food, freshly squeezed juice and espresso, even if they are just browsing.
