If only we could w**d out the non-hackers and direct our messages to the true believers. In most cases, our true believers are those that need what we are selling, who have the money to buy and who are ready now. Influencers and brand recognition is great, but with limited time and marketing resources, we battle 20 second attention spans for the ultimate "learn more" click to our purchase page.

I enjoy real life photos and not just staged images. I spend as much time on social media as I intend to get back, eliminate the feeds of people who post nonsense, and think of my feed as my community forum. Typically thought leaders will have important things to say with greater impact. If I agree, I say so.. disagree, I say so. Regardless, I make a point and interact with the courage of my convictions.

𝙈𝙞𝙙𝙙𝙡𝙚 𝙜𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙙.

We hear it now used in politics but it's also relevant in how we work, both at home and back in the office.

Our new Totem product needed to help people achieve that middle ground.

I began to think about the TOT'em as a means to help people with a far greater challenge than office space.

How do we help people work remotely in homes that are not designed for long term computer use or work storage?

How do we help people bring their work items from the kitchen table to the backyard, to the apartment roof deck, and then easily set up and stay comfortable in any potential work area?

We needed to enhance out totem product from an in office work tote to a work from anywhere solution. so that people could find the middle ground between work and life.

How we were able to shift mid-design would take up a whole other chapter, but it turned into an incredible experience and a product that will help far more people dealing with challenging circumstances.

My hope is that this solution is just one small piece of the balance puzzle.

I know it's hard, but try not to work on the couch.

My fiancé is an anomaly. She works better from the couch with the TV on. Regardless of how much she gets done, her back gets stiff and her hips hurt.

A quick Google search will tell you all you need to know on the health issues related to working from home.

Not everyone has the luxury of space for setting up an ergonomic workstation but standing desks are now much cheaper than they were just a few years ago.

Many employers allow their employees to charge these to their expense accounts.

We spent over a year designing TOTem Enhanced in tandem with Scandinavian design firm Schmidt/Hammer/Lassen.

Initially designed as an office locker replacement, TOTem is a storage solution that enables the user to work optimally from anywhere. TOT'em addresses the challenge of organizing work items at home and staying healthy at-home working areas not designed for long term use.
