After 8 incredible years in New Ulm, we want to take a moment to sincerely thank every single one of you who has supported us along the way. Your trust, encouragement, and loyalty have meant everything to us and helped shape who we are today.

As we move into our next chapter, production at our New Ulm shop will be coming to a close. However, we’re continuing to take custom orders and deliver the same level of quality craftsmanship and thoughtful design you’ve come to expect from us.

All new production will now take place in Mankato in collaboration with one of our former team members—someone who has been an important part of our journey and who we’re excited to now be partnering with. This allows us to continue building with the same passion, quality, and attention to detail you expect from us.

We’re also currently hosting an online auction and would love for you to check it out—and if you’re able, share it with others who might be interested. Your support, as always, goes a long way.

Thank you again for being part of our journey. This isn’t the end—it’s simply a new chapter, and we’re excited for what’s ahead.

Today is a perfect day to find a sun puddle and relax — and while the humans are hard at work, that’s exactly what Bill and Jazz have decided to do.
While we’re busy staining, packaging a coffee table for shipping, quoting new jobs, and making progress on those beautiful sliding barn doors, our four‑legged coworkers are absolutely crushing their supervisory duties. From their sunny posts, they’re keeping a close eye on productivity… in between naps, of course.
Somebody has to make sure morale stays high, and they take that responsibility very seriously.

Our Reclaimed Barn Beam coffee table build comes to a close with this final video. It’s been rewarding sharing the transformation from raw beams to a finished piece. If you’re drawn to this rugged, modern style, we’d love to create one for your home.

Today’s the day!
A little while back we hinted at a surprise for some of our amazing past clients—and we’re thrilled to finally share it.
We have a handful of wonderful folks who proudly placed our CALA logo signs in their yards. As a thank‑you for that support, we held a special drawing just for them. One of these incredible clients is about to receive this beautiful Hackberry cube, crafted right here in our shop.

What a wonderful group we had for class last night!
Everyone came ready to create, and the energy in the shop was just incredible.
Jazz took his job very seriously and kept watch over the flowers until it was time for each student to pick their stems. And of course, a huge thank‑you to A to Zinnia Floral and Gifts for making sure we had the freshest, highest‑quality flowers to work with — they truly make all the difference.
Every single person brought their own creativity to the table. Whether they were crafting something special for themselves or for their valentine, everyone went home with an amazing, one‑of‑a‑kind piece.
Nights like this remind us why we love hosting these classes.

This gorgeous maple slab is almost ready for its big debut!
A little more finishing, a set of legs, and it’ll be transformed into a one‑of‑a‑kind coffee table.
It doesn’t have a home yet — but it’s definitely ready to make one feel a whole lot cozier.

😊 Even the logs are excited for our Valentine’s Vase Woodburning Class!
We were drilling out the center for the “vase” insert and this one decided to smile back at us.
Apparently the wood is just as ready for class night as we are.
Can’t wait to see what everyone creates — these little logs have personality.
