Congrats to Josh and his beautiful bride Sierra on their gorgeous wedding two weeks ago! We all had a blast!

Josh enjoyed 2 weeks off for his honeymoon in Hawaii and is back to work today. It wouldn’t be a proper extended time off from Balsam if you don’t get a “____ who?” text while on vacation, hence the last photo. The guys went all out on this one 😂

We wanted to take a moment and share a fundraiser that hits close to home.

Janice DeVries was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Pancreatic cancer. For any of you who go to Rush River Tree Farm for your Christmas trees or wreaths, you likely recognize Jan. Jan is the life partner to Wade, one of the owners of the company.

Please consider attending the fundraiser that is being held for Jan on Sunday, August 13th. More details of the fundraiser and previews of the wonderful donations can be found at Fight 4 Jan 💜 Fundraiser for Janice DeVries’s Fight Against Pancreatic Cancer.

One of the many items being donated is a dinner for two and a hot air balloon ride out of Vino In The Valley! Raffle tickets are $10/ticket and will be sold at the fundraiser but also in advance.

Tickets can be purchased with cash at Vino in the Valley this weekend or can be purchased via Venmo up until the day of the event. If interested in purchasing via Venmo, please comment below or PM Katie Brenner for more information.

We love when customers reach out months later and not only send us photos of our orders once they’ve been installed, but are still appreciative of the item we produced!

This reclaim original face pine vanity offers a great contrast to all of the whites in this bathroom. On this project we specifically selected lighter colored boards to match the customer’s vision of the space.

The homeowners made a great choice with the Emtek handle and the satin etched glass, which allows light in the home while still having privacy.

Our semi truck headed to Hayward yesterday with this large load of reclaim, all to be used on an exterior of a home. We shipped 8x8's, 10x12's, and 12x12 reclaim pine beams, along with 1x reclaim to be used to wrap beams and be used as ceiling and paneling material on their porch. We can't wait to see once all is installed!

Our most recent delivery was today to Frisco, Colorado! A long-time customer is opening yet another boutique in another mountain town. This shipment is entirely reclaimed material, including reclaimed boards for paneling/dressing rooms as well as reclaimed cabinets for their counter and jewelry displays. We can't wait to see once they're installed and the store is open for business!

On Saturday Balsam was invited to an open house of a home we worked on for many months earlier this year. This was the third large project we had worked on for this specific customer and probably our favorite yet for this family. The homeowner gave Greg, the owner of our company, full reign to do any design he saw fit. We certainly love when customers appreciate our company and trust us to get the job done right!
Oftentimes we see our products ship in bundles/boards, without any finish, unsure what the final look will be. We were thrilled they invited the entire Balsam staff, plus our family and friends, to the home to see the finished remodel!
We produced (almost) everything wood within the home, starting with the 13.5' reclaim exterior door. Below is some of the products we provided:

*Painted vanity cabinets
*Rustic hickory kitchen cabinets and reclaim island
*Hickory interior doors
*Reclaim wine bar
*Reclaim ceiling
*Custom metal handrail and balusters
*White oak end grain flooring
*Character band sawn rift and quartered white oak flooring and stairs to match
*Reclaim: dart wall, timbers, bar shelving, barrel vault, tv wall,
*Curved reclaim bar and bar top with custom metal foot rail
*Painted pine face gap ceiling material
