This one-of-a-kind $20,000 ping pong table was crafted from African bubinga, one of the most striking and dense hardwoods in the world. Built to balance performance and design, every surface was carefully milled, flattened, and finished to showcase the wood’s rich color and dramatic figuring while maintaining a perfectly level playing surface. The result is a custom piece that functions as both a ping pong table and a work of furniture-grade craftsmanship.

Every void, swirl, and edge in this table tells part of the story. Stabilized, shaped, and finished by hand, this piece pushes the line between functional furniture and natural art.

The deep smokey resin amplifies the burl’s wild figure while the sculpted organic edge keeps the form rooted in nature.

The finish is on.

The custom black walnut net is complete.
And the final details have officially come together.
This custom Bubinga ping pong table was built to blur the line between functional game table and heirloom furniture piece - combining precision craftsmanship, hand-finished details, and materials you rarely see used at this scale.

From the matching custom paddles to the handcrafted black walnut net system, every part of this build was designed with intention.
What started as raw lumber is now a fully realized statement piece.

This is where the project starts coming fully to life.
From hand-finishing the custom paddles to carefully applying the rubber surfaces by hand, every detail is being treated with the same level of precision as the table itself.

At the same time, final layout work, alignment, finishing, and assembly continue across the main table - ensuring the custom black walnut net system, hardware, and playing surface all come together seamlessly.

What started as rough lumber is now becoming a fully realized piece of functional furniture art.

Custom CNC-machined components, precision joinery, hand-finished paddles, and the installation of the custom black walnut net system all come together to push the project further into functional furniture art.

Built from Bubinga, the table’s rich grain and natural depth are matched with carefully crafted details designed specifically for this build - from the perforated walnut net structure to the hidden mounting details underneath the table.

The goal has never been to simply build a ping pong table.

It’s to create an heirloom-quality experience around the game itself.

Every custom piece starts with the groundwork.

This Bubinga ping pong table begins with rough milling, layout work, and preparing each board for glue-up. The final design will feature a black walnut net and an ebonized ash center strip — blending luxury furniture craftsmanship with functional play.

This executive desk was built from a single live edge White Oak slab and encased in dark grey mica resin. this custom table was designed to balance raw natural character with modern functionality.

From the flowing grain patterns and hand-fit inlays, to the integrated tech outlet and sculpted steel base, every detail was intentionally considered.

Finished with Rubio Monocoat Pure and protected with a UV-cured resin topcoat, this one-of-one piece was built to be used daily, while still feeling like functional art.
