Antique and Vintage Pieces:
Vintage and antique furniture frames have character and patina consistent with their age. When you purchase an item that is an antique or vintage item, you are purchasing a piece that can be decades or o
ver a hundred years old. And you are purchasing the bumps and bruises that come from the piece being loved by many people over the years. These bumps and bruises are part of their history and charm. We adore these unique and interesting pieces, but there is no guarantee regarding the lifespan of an antique or vintage piece. And as such, we are not responsible for the wear and tear of these pieces once sold. It is our passion and joy to breathe new life into old pieces, however part of the beauty are the imperfections inherent to these pieces. While we strive to do our best to refurbish the integrity of the piece, these pieces are not brand new. Our goal is to carefully refurbish the piece, repairing the structure when needed, while maintaining the character present in the piece. We do not erase chips, imperfections, scars, seams and wear from the frames. We feel that the artistic marriage of new textiles on old pieces is what results in a beautiful, one of a kind piece. Please review the listing photos carefully as we consider them part of the description of the item. Age:
We do not authenticate or validate whether a piece is an actual antique (over 100 years old) or a vintage piece (under 100 years old). We can only provide the description based on the information given to us when we acquired the piece, which may be unreliable. Colors:
Colors may vary due to the variability in computer monitors, how each person sees color, and the lighting in the area where the furniture is placed. We strive to provide photos that are as life-like as possible, and we try to describe colors accurately in the item description.
