Peeled the laminate covering off of all the surfaces of this piece! Even removed all the small mouldings so I could get off the peeling laminate and then reattached them! Whew! Labor of love but so happy with the end result! The wood top was too pretty to be covered up and it gave me nice smooth surface for paint and then glaze! ❤️ (this is a customer piece and is not for sale)

Finished up the cutest little antique table and chairs today! It’s a Duncan Phyfe set that is very old! You don’t find these kinds of details anymore. Solid wood. I removed the peeling veneer top and stained the wood top a gorgeous special walnut. The chairs are painted a duck egg blue and glazed to really give it that something extra that makes the details POP! This is an antique set so it’s more petite and would be perfect for someone needing a smaller set. Includes 4 chairs (one captains chair)

One of my all time favorite transformations!! This piece is from 1922 and was sitting in a barn for YEARS! It was damaged **almost** beyond repair! I was able to remove all the damaged veneer down to something solid. The weather/termite damage was extensive but with lots of elbow grease and sand paper I was able to bring it back! The bottom was rusted all over, I applied several coats of rust dissolver and then sanded it smooth! There’s lots of small imperfections left in the wood but I believe it gives it the character is deserves for being 100 years old! I added a transfer and wooden appliqués to really give it something special!!This originally belonged to my customers great grandmother and I promised her I would put as much love into as I would if it were my own!
