A yacht spotting site or app will give you that vicarious thrill of glimpsing the ‘idle rich’ in the wild.  Truthfully, for San Diegans, season after season, the mega yachts that port with us are a boon for the local economy.

 We’ve had the privilege and pleasure of repeat business, from season to season, with some stunners.  But it might tickle you to know how these mega-yachters are ‘just like us’.  They have interiors and pieces that are in dire need of updates too. 

This chest belongs to a mega yacht that we’ve returned to time and again, during San Diego stays, for a host of refreshes and repairs.  Kind of a beast, weight-wise, we had to recover her onboard.  Years of coffee cup rings are a thing of the past, but the carefully replaced original, authentic crocodile trim retains the piece’s salty charm and character.  

 All our jobs, from the smallest to the most mega, are always just a set of problems waiting on an elegant solution from North Star.

She’s a sweet, little salon update – a clean, fresh take made cozy and inviting with a counterplay of white and wood earth tones.  Available natural light is maximized, creating a sense of open space.  The Nurture White Sunbrella is a solid woven with boucle yarn that gives texture and a soft feel.

Added a couple of finished pillows for that completed look (hands getting the shot emoji). Give us a mug, a cashmere throw, and some Audible downloads, and we are down to do a Ha-Ha, a Puddle Jump, or all the lazy Sundays, just bobbing at the dock!
