At Pedrakut, we work with both natural stone and engineered quartz, and we respect each material for what it is.
I can’t count how many times I’ve heard, “You’re the first person to ask for the quartz composition before pricing.”
That’s me - Kassandra behind Pedrakut - and details matter to me A LOT!
With natural stone, the “recipe” is already known ( at least as an Educator I know pretty well) When it comes to quartz, we want to understand the percentages and composition of what materials are there, what minerals....

That’s why we’re selective about the quartz brands we carry, quality, safety, and performance always come first.
Knowing the material is how great work stands, and we never going to sell our souls for dollars!

I was invited to speak at the Stone Industry Education Summit, hosted by sharing the table with some of the top names in the business (hey 👋). We talked shop. We talked vision. We talked truth. Because after 15+ years designing with natural stone, I’ve lived it all, the risks, the trends, the craftsmanship, the clients who want something exceptional and the ones that think natural stone is plastic.

As a steering committee member for Women in Stone, a longtime mentor for the Industry and a proud supporter of NSI’s educational initiatives, I (Kassandra) strongly believe we’re not just shaping surfaces here at PedraKut, we’re shaping a the future of the stone industry, where knowledge is shared, values are inclusive, and success is built on a foundation of skill, wisdom and passion!
