Carl began learning the upholstery trade as a teenager and took it up as his profession 35 years ago. In 1989, he and his wife Bonnie started Carl and Bonnie Tomes Upholstery. Unfortunately, Bonnie passed away in 2010, and the business has continued under the new name Carl Tomes Upholstery. e and design stores in Nashville. Our work has been seen on TV and newspapers, and at the Nashville Decorator’s Show House. The superior quality we provide is what has made our services so popular in the middle Tennessee area for so many years.
