Transcending circumstance?

When you are such a great actor that you land the role of Heimdall, the keeper of the Rainbow Bridge of Asgard, home of the Norse Gods, you can look past the dearth of roles for Black actors. What I take that to mean is, step out of your comfort zone, young actors...PEACE.

Movies from the Great Gatsby era always included theatre. Bring it on!!

As the camera pans to New York's Times Square, in the 1920's setting of the movie, it can clearly be seen that the name of Broadway revues Ziegfeld Follies is spelled incorrectly.

The Scottsboro Boys, the Tony Award-nominated musical inspired by a Depression-era miscarriage of American justice, makes its West Coast debut, officially opening May 5 following previews from April 29 at The Old Globe in San Diego. Veterans of the 2010 Broadway staging punctuate the company.
