Is spraying or rolling/brushing better for cabinets.

Well if we’re comparing apples to apples, spraying is always going to provide a better finish.

Although with proper technique and the right paint, rolling can provide some really good results too!

3 Questions to ask your potential kitchen cabinet painter.

1. Ask them about their prep process. Will they be cleaning the cabinets before spraying.

Will the floors, countertops, walls, etc be covered to avoid overspray onto things? Will they properly sand the doors to maximize adhesion of primer?

2. What type of primer and paint are they using. Is it cabinet grade? Is it a 1k or 2k?

3. How long have they been using this system (primer and paint combo)? Is this a system they just started using? Are they still working out the kinks? Or is it time tested with previous results?

These are some simple questions that will give you some great insight as to whether or not a cabinet painter will be right for you.
