Our focus in 2025 is our "party platters". They are great for cheese and charcuterie, popcorn, burgers and fries, or you name it! All our products are made from used wine barrels from the Napa Valley. We use top quality methods for building our furniture and accessories.

NVBW platters.can be used in a variety of ways, but a fan favorite is definitely as a charcuterie board. NVBW platters are sealed with a food-safe wax (similar to that used on wooden cutting boards) that leaves no residue and can be reapplied over time to maintain your platter's appearance and function.

Hey Instagram, my name is Doug and I want to welcome you to the Napa Valley Barrel Works (NVBW) page! I hope you enjoy what you see and stick around to enjoy the beauty of an often overlooked element of Napa...its barrels!

A few facts about me and my business:

😎I'm a Napa native, husband, and father who grew up working in my family's small busines of electricians when I was in middle school. This began a lifelong passion for craftsmanship and appreciation for hard work.

🍷 I started NVBW several years ago repurposing Napa Valley barrels into platters, lazy susans, pet beds, and even bar stools!

🪵Every item is unique, because every barrel is unique, from coloring to size.

💯 I pride myself on the quality of my products. With everything being handcrafted, I am intentional about every detail. If I wouldn't use it for my family, I wouldn't sell it to yours.

🎁 Great as gifts or to keep for yourself, NVBW products are a great way to bring a piece of the Napa Valley into your home.
