- [ ] The next table is made from a slab of box elder wood. This piece has some beautiful grain. This piece of wood was saved a few years ago when the tree had to be taken down in the city of Nacogdoches. The base is cast iron and once served as a sewing machine base. It had to be stripped down, cleaned up and repainted to bring it back to life. This piece of wood and base compliment each other very nicely and will be available at Holiday in the Pines !!

Well, we packed up all the bowls for Holiday in the Pines and forgot to take pictures. I’ll take those pictures after we set up the booth later this week. I did want to take the time to share a few photos of the tables that will be available this year at the show. The first one is a black walnut with beautiful grain and stone added into the natural crevices. The base is cast iron and once served as a sewing machine base. It has been restored and now serves as a base for this beautiful piece of wood.

After a year and a half of no in person shows we are more than ready to get back at it !! Will’s Woodworks will be in Dallas this weekend at the Artscape show on the grounds of the Dallas Arboretum !!
