A full flat surface, no grooves, no frills — just maximum cutting real estate and easy cleanup. Made from walnut, cherry, and maple, this board is as functional as it is beautiful.

We had a fun time at the Reeths-Puffer Holiday Market on Saturday! The weather definitely kept the crowds down, but we loved meeting the folks who braved the storm and stopped by our booth.

From raw cherry boards to a finished heirloom — this chest has been a labor of patience, precision, and pride.

Solid cherry throughout, box joint joinery, velvet-lined interior, finished in Danish oil and wax for a warm, natural sheen.

Every inch tells a story — from the careful grain matching to the quiet details underneath. Even the lid is reinforced with solid cherry battens, keeping it flat and true for generations to come.

It fought me a few times along the way, but that’s the nature of real craftsmanship — wood has its own will.

Rescued a $2 mid-century Dixie Seating chair that was grimy and worn. Stripped it down, sanded it, reattached the seat properly, and gave it fresh Danish oil. Now it’s kid-tested, sturdy, and blanky-approved ❤️

First attempt at a box build! Still unfinished and no hardware yet, but I wanted to share the progress. Notice the through dowels on the sides — adds a nice touch of detail. This one’s going to be a special little project for my daughter to keep forever.
