My name is Tracey, and I have had a love for sewing almost as long as I can remember. My earliest sewing endeavors involved an old treadle machine belonging to my great grandma. It gave me endless delight to pump the foot pedal and guide the paper under the empty needle. Staying inside the lines had a whole new meaning! I eventually graduated to actual thread and fabric. As a freshman in high scho
ol I made my first outfit in home ec. I wore it to the school program and almost died when the principal had me stand up and model it! Throughout the years, I have enjoyed sewing all kinds of things, from clothes to home décor, and at one point had my own antique quilt restoration business. My latest love is reupholstery and am thankful for the opportunity God has given me as a stay at home mom to expand these last few years in this adventure. It is so rewarding to take a piece of worn out, outdated, and sometimes unusable furniture and make it lovely again.
