Springtime has a slightly different feel if you are in our Silvis, IL or Houma, LA facilities, but from the animals to bees and flowers, new birth is all around us. We even have locomotive parts coming up in our Facilities!

So let's clean out that dreary winter sludge from the last few months. Whether you need work on that engine before summer, or need to start a Truck overhaul program, we may be sprouting the parts you need.

Ryan Floyd – Director of Purchasing, TRM NRE
Ryan Floyd has a comprehensive background in the rail industry, with expertise in mechanical procurement, inventory logistics, continuous improvement, and governance. His career began at Wabtec Global Services, where he developed a strong foundation in the field. He then spent 11 years at Kansas City Southern (KCS), gaining extensive experience across the entire procure-to-pay process, including warehouse management, procurement, sourcing, logistics, and leading special projects.
Following the merger of CP and KCS into Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC), Ryan has spent the past two years focusing on system integration, locomotive procurement, and advancing procurement and inventory governance practices.
Outside of work, Ryan is dedicated to his family. He and his wife, Samantha, are proud parents of two daughters, aged 9 and 13, as well as a Labrador Retriever mix. Together, they enjoy outdoor activities such as kayaking, fishing, hunting, distance running, geocaching, and playing or watching sports. Much of their time is devoted to supporting their daughters' activities, including competitive soccer, volleyball, piano, Girl Scouts, and golf.

Jami Melvin – Account Executive Assistant, TRM NRE
Jami Melvin has been a valued member of our organization since March 2013. She began her journey in the Shipping and Receiving Department, where she quickly advanced to the role of Lead. Her abilities and attention to detail earned her a move to our International Division as Export Coordinator, where she managed complex logistics and further developed her understanding of the critical parts our customers depend on. This role also deepened her expertise in our system and database, equipping her with a solid foundation in operations.

In October 2024, Jami took on the position of Account Executive Assistant in the Sales Department. With over a decade of experience in customer-oriented roles, Jami brings a strong knowledge of our products and a dedication to supporting our clients' needs. Her extensive background across multiple departments enables her to provide informed, effective support to the sales team and foster seamless customer interactions.
