Molly always requests some crazy project for Halloween. This year it was a wheel for her to feel like she was running on.
Um. There are 5 pictures on google on this, 5!!!! Nothing on Pinterest and damn it was not easy to plan, but very easy to complete once I put my head around it!

Step 1: Find 2 large hula hoops in the middle of October!
Step 2: Discuss with engineer hubby, who kinda says um what?
I can only think of plumbing supplies. Ugh...Halloween is supposed to be cheap!
Step 3: Take a metal skewer and burn a hole in the hula hoop.
Step 4: Insert wooden skewer while the hole is still hot and let sit til cool.
Step 5: Continue over and over until they are connected.
Step 6: Seal the ends with duct tape
Step 7: Seal the edges with duct tape
Step 8: Add lights and backpack
Step 9: PRAY that your crazy 9 year old doesn't move once and it all falls apart!!!!

This weeks project
Take apart the coffee nook chairs the dog has destroyed with scratching and making herself comfy. Replace fake leather with a suede fabric. Make "barriers" aka pillows so she will not do it again, from cute curtains I found. Approx. $20 in fabric and staples. So much better than duct tape! Made a matching pillow for the couch too.

Made these personalized chicken egg holders for a friend's new hobby!

Went in for a peak and this was a wonderful surprise! I was expecting to see some progress on the building of the nest....

Ah! What's the way to this mamas heart? Pick up her camera!

They saw a bird in the yard and started clicking away. They played with the cameras for 2 hours, in and out. "Wow, mom u can see what a little practice can do...I got better already!"

*they have never EVER showed any interest in my love for photography ever! Woot!

I'll post so of their favorites tomorrow!
