A client brought us rough cut slabs from a large mesquite tree on their property. The tree had provided shade for countless barbecues, held the baby swing when they welcomed their first child, served as the frequent hitching post for the horse, and provided a solid, shady place to dress out the season's harvest. When it was uprooted by a storm, the clients saw another way this beautiful tree could stay in their family and be enjoyed for decades to come.

It was a joy to create this custom mesquite dining table, and we hope that they create many treasured memories around it.

Do you have a family heirloom or valuable antique piece of furniture in need of restoring? Antique restoration is another service TMI Custom Woodwork offers.

Both of these items had structural damage. Tray repaired and refinished both pieces. He even tanned a deer hide that we had stored in the freezer for the cushion cover on the lion chair.
