Michael Wesley Designs Michael Wesley I have an engineering degree from NCSU and a business degree from UNCG. and hence, Michael Wesley Designs was created.

I worked for corporations x, y, and z for many years and eventually decided that I wanted something more (something that I was passionate about... something that I really believed in... something of my own...) I was born in North Carolina. I have spent the last 30+ years learning from my Dad. Before retirement, he worked with metal (designed and fabricated surgical instruments). On his time, he wo

rked with wood (designed and built home additions, furniture, toys, etc.). In between work and play, he repaired everything that broke in and around the house. (To this day, you will find him in his workshop behind his house working on his next project.) I spent many hours in his workshops watching him build/repair anything and everything. He has taught me so much over the years. I am very fortunate to have the Dad (& Mom, who was the concept leader of many of his projects :) ) that I have....

My work is my own --- I design and fabricate each piece. Each piece is carefully made with attention and detail and a reflection of me. I design and create jewelry for the same reasons that one selects and wears jewelry (i.e. it is a statement of who I am and what I am about). I hope that the pieces you select give you as much personal satisfaction as they have given me in the process of making them.
